Fabiano was originally scheduled to fight Erik Koch, but Koch recently withdrew from the competition due to an unknown injury. Semerzier is 3-0 and this will be his first WEC fight.
From the numbers Fabiano appears to be a more experienced fighter with 13 MMA fights recorded and only 1 of which was a loss. WEC 43 is scheduled to take place on October 10th.
