Nova Uniao MMA Fighters

Team Nova Uniao is one of the fastest growing MMA teams in the world. Led by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 5th Degree Black Belt and UFC Veteran, Andre Pederneiras, the Jiu-Jitsu team turned MMA is not only a powerhouse of talent, but a strongly united team as well. With their impressive win percentages, it’s no surprise that Nova Uniao was voted “The Best MMA Team in 2008” by TATAME Magazine, the most prestigious fighting magazine in Brazil.

With 50 professional athletes on their roster, Nova Uniao includes fighters such as: Thales Leites (UFC), Vitor “Shaolin” (K-1), Jose Aldo (WEC), Wagnney Fabiano (WEC), Marcos Galvao (WEC), and Marlon Sandro (Sengoku), just to name a few. Even with these recognizable names, the success of the Team has been based on their performance as a whole, not just their internationally known fighters.

With many talented fighters on the rise and their continued success, Nova Uniao is proving to be THE team of CHAMPIONS.

“Nova Uniao is the team that has the most athletes who have become champions. They started at the white-belt level here and became champions; they did not come from other teams. We are the best team in Brazil nowadays; we are a team that has more great athletes in Jiu-Jitsu and the most number of champions in MMA. I advise the promoters and managers of the world that if they want top athletes in Brazil, the first place they should look is here.”
