The 1st Southwest BJJ Classic took place in Mesa, AZ on October 11th and 12th. Nova Uniao was well represented by Nova Uniao Schools from Arizona and Las Vegas. According to Arizona Nova Uniao’s GD Jiu-Jitsu, the Nova Uniao Team had 18 total medals, with 10 Gold,1 Silver, 7 bronze and took 4th place overall. That’s an amazing accomplishment considering Nova Uniao only had 28 competitors. Just goes to show the talent coming from this amazing team. View the complete tournament results.
